Blue Ridge Mountain Cabin Rentals

Blue Ridge Mountain cabin rentals are perfect for that much-needed family vacation or just some time away from the everyday stresses of modern city living. While staying somewhere in Georgia within the magnificent Blue Ridge Mountain range region, you will get the opportunity to explore the area with trips out to the lakes and rivers, where you can have a picnic or just enjoy fishing in the sunshine, or else you could go hiking in the Chattahoochee National Forests. In the beginning of the 1900’s, these magnificent forests were almost destroyed, but luckily one of the forest rangers fought to protect it and even single-handedly assisted in replenishing the fading species of whitetail deer and also introduced a variety of trout fish to the many streams running through the forests. Today, this place is a truly magical environment of fresh air and nature, giving you a wonderful experience of indigenous Georgia that you will never forget.

Another great activity you might like to enjoy while staying within one of the Blue Ridge Mountain cabin rentals would be a day visiting the Lake Blue Ridge, as it is probably the most beautiful lake out of all of Georgia’s lakes. This lake is 3290 acres, and has some truly magnificent surroundings of nature and forest vegetation. You could even make a night of it, and experience a traditional camping trip with family at one of the many state of the art camping facilities available in the area. While staying here or even just visiting, you will be able to go on boat trips, swim in the warm water and enjoy wonderful picnics on the lakeshore. All in all, there are 58 separate campsites (so you’ll never be pushed for choice!), and many ramps created specifically for boats. If you are an avid fisherman, the types of fish you can expect to hook include bass, catfish, bream, crappie and even perch – offering you a wide variety, and thus also making this an extremely popular fishing destination with many anglers after the white bass within the lake.

While staying in the Blue Ridge Mountain cabin rentals, some of the recommended places to visit would be the five magnificent waterfalls in the area. Most of these natural attractions can only be seen if you are prepared to hike up to see them, as they are not approachable by vehicles. One of them is Long Creek Falls, which just so happens to be the most popular of all the five waterfalls in the area, and can be reached by taking a very short hike along a safe and beautiful trail that lasts just half an hour. Another exquisite waterfall is the Falls Branch Falls, which drops into a stunning pool thirty feet below, and is a truly magnificent sight to behold, although it is slightly harder to reach than the Long Creek Falls. Another is Sea Creek Falls, which is probably the easiest of all the waterfalls to reach and consists of many different remarkable cascades.
